TGI 502 – Creepy Cards of Inscryption
After we kick off the countdown of non-Horizon Forbidden West Gamers’ Inn episodes, we move over to a fan favourite of 2021: Incryption. Ryan started his journey through the creepy card battler over the holidays, and finished before this episode, while Jocelyn is fresh on her path to defeating Leshy. We keep the conversation spoiler free, as we recommend going into this one fresh. In the news, we have our first full length trailer for the Halo TV series, Sony is buying Bungie for 3.6 billion dollars, and Wordle joins the acquisition club thanks to the New York Times.
TGI 501 – Nobody Saves Everybody
Ryan and Jocelyn return to share more of their thoughts on Nobody Saves The World. Plus, Ryan returns to the stealth strategy genre with Shadow Tactics: Aiko’s Choice. Over in the news, there’s more to dive into when it comes to the Activision Blizzard acquisition, which includes diving into the back catalogue of Activision franchises, and Call of Duty staying on PlayStation (for now). Finally, we close out the show with Blizzard’s recruiting announcement for a new survival game based on a fresh IP (tune into The Instance this week for more on this one from Joce).
TGI 500 – 10 Years at the Inn
That’s right, we’re celebrating TEN YEARS of The Gamers’ Inn this week. The celebrations include a Guess That Game segment with clips selected by listeners of the show, and some listener suggested topics to help us look back at the last 500 episodes. We chat about one new game called Nobody Saves The World, that’s out now on Game Pass (more on the game next week). Finally, we close out the show with the bombshell news that Microsoft is buying Activision Blizzard for 70 billion dollars! This is a developing story, and just broke the day we recorded. TGI 499 – Get Into The Gunk
We’re back with our first episode of 2022 as we hurdle ever closer to the big TGI 500. We kick off the show with some holiday game discussions as Jocelyn purchased Skyrim again, leading to her playing a bunch of Elder Scrolls Online. Also Dead by Daylight appears to be having some balance issues. Ryan finished up Halo Infinite over the holidays, and managed to squeeze in some time with The Gunk, both on Xbox/PC Game Pass. Finally, Ryan has been enjoying the devilish delights of Rogue Lords. We forgo the news to discuss our most anticipated titles of 2022, including some honourable mentions.

Welcome to the annual Gamers’ Inn Game of the Year episode! We go over our top 5 video game experiences from 2021, which does include a few older games we played this year. We close our the show with some Honourable Mentions and Games We Missed. Wouldn’t want to leave anyone out on this momentous occasion! Look forward to some of those games making a comeback in 2022!
TGI 497 – The Alan Wake Awards
Ryan welcomes back Jocelyn with a surprise ripped straight from The Game Awards. Then we move into our promised Arcane spoilers, where we discuss the first full season for the Netflix animated series. While Jocelyn was away she completed the entire main game of Control, including the Alan Wake expansion. Moving into our news segment, we focus in on The Game Awards, looking at the awards and the announcements.
TGI 496 – Most Jim Trails Lead to Anime
Jimmy The “Play Trails” Shovel guests on the show this week with Ryan to dive into the latest anime experiences! Jim kicks things off with Scarlet Nexus, which he played on Xbox Game Pass for PC. Inspired by Ryan’s time with Arcane, he checked out League of Legends: Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra on iOS. Closing out our games section, Jim updates us all on the Doki Doki Literature Club Pus, an updated paid version to the free game. In the news, we have a large chunk of Activision Blizzard updates where one of the protest leads is leaving Blizzard, The Game Awards made headlines for how they may or may not deal with Activision Blizzard, and Raven QA team members let go after being promised full time positions for months. Closing out the news, we look at the reports that PlayStation is preparing a response to Xbox Game Pass.
TGI 495 – Driving Like It’s Forza Kart
We’re soon to be all loaded up on current generation consoles as Jocelyn has successfully ordered a PlayStation 5! Plus, what should we do for our 500th episode to mark ten years of The Gamers’ Inn? Moving into games that we’re playing, Ryan is driving around in Forza Horizon 5 while thinking about Xbox Game Pass. Jocelyn on the other hand is crafting the superior dinosaur park in Jurassic World Evolution 2. Moving into the news, we have more on Activision Blizzard as Sony, Xbox, and Nintendo all weigh in on the matter. And to conclude the news, League of Legends is renewed at Netflix with Arcane Season 2 in production, and Amazon may be adapting Mass Effect soon.
TGI 494 – MOBAs Renewed on Netflix
Ryan and Jocelyn take a break from video games to talk about a Netflix series based on a video game! That’s right, we discuss the first three episodes of Arcane, the new League of Legends series. We discuss some spoilers for this first arc, so if you’re looking to experience yourself, best skip ahead. Next up, Ryan had some time in Back 4 Blood with his ZAMP co-host. In the news, there’s another damning update in the Activision Blizzard saga as WSJ has released a report on Bobby Kotick’s actions over the years and the story behind Jen O’Neal’s departure. In more news, The Game Awards released it’s nominee list, and for Xbox’s 20th anniversary Microsoft announced a documentary, showcased the first teaser for the Halo TV series, and launched Halo Infinite multiplayer early!
TGI 493 – House of What a Twist
After a very successful Extra Life Game Day, Ryan and Jocelyn bring The Dark Pictures Anthology: House of Ashes to the inn.
