Over in the news, Secret Level is getting a second season, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 will arrive in Spring 2027, Sony announces multiple movie and TV projects for their video game properties at CES 2025, and Nvidia unveils the next generation of their graphic cards.

Jocelyn has come to bargain in exchange for Ryan playing Lorelei and the Laser Eyes, which oddly leads to Jocelyn possibly watching all of the Knuckles series for Extra Life? Anyways, Jocelyn keeps up her end by playing Doki Doki Literature Club and Slay the Princess. Ryan continues to delay Laser Eyes with a 20 year old book by Chris Kohler titled Power-Up: How Japanese Video Games Gave the World an Extra Life and his continuing adventures in Dragon Age: The Veilguard. In the news, Nintendo keeps their legal team busy by suing a content creator for streaming pirated content and an update on the Palworld lawsuit, while a Mass Effect television show is confirmed to be in the works at Amazon.

With Extra Life Game Day 2024 behind us, it’s time to recap our awesome 12 hour stream! We go over our time in Fortnite, Dead by Daylight, and Sea of Thieves from our November 2nd event. After our Extra Life chatter, Ryan wraps up his time with Alan Wake II after completing The Lake House DLC (not to be confused with the movie). Plus, we kick off our Dragon Age: The Veilguard content as both Ryan and Jocelyn take their first steps in this new BioWare adventure. In the news, Microsoft says Call of Duty helped add a record number of subscribers to Game Pass, Nintendo continues to not announce the Switch 2 with the Nintendo Music app, and Nintendo teases a few details about the Switch Successor which is still set to be revealed before this end of fiscal (April 2025).

Over in the news, Ubisoft disbands the Lost Crown team and moves them to other projects, Sony closes Concord studio and cancels game, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp lives on, and Xenoblade Chronicles X may just be the sunset for Nintendo Switch.

Over in the news, Xbox hosted a Partner Showcase, Vampire Survivors says the quiet part out loud with it’s Ode to Castlevania DLC, that Nintendo play test leaked IMMEDIATELY, and Netflix shuts down it’s AAA game studio before it has a chance to release a game.
