After missing last week, we return to catch up on the games we’ve been playing and The Last of Us on HBO. Ryan tests out his new Steam Deck Dock from iVoler with the brand new DLC for Dead Cells, Return to Castlevania. Jocelyn returns to Coral Island and checks in on Graveyard Keeper. We then jump into our The Last of Us on HBO spoiler discussion. If you haven’t watched the entire season you may want to return to this segment after watching (check time codes below). Moving into the news, we’ve received our final Super Mario Bros. Movie trailer and Nintendo will be pricing games at $70 on a game by game basis.

We have another Souls-like game for the Inn this week with Ryan playing Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty on Xbox Game Pass. Plus Jocelyn returns to Coral Island to continue her adventures of cleaning oceans, contributing to museums, and delving into mines. We also have a lot of video games news to cover, including The Olympics getting into Esports, Dead by Daylight is getting a movie, the Microsoft Activision Blizzard deal is reported to be approved in the EU, Ghostcrawler is no longer at Riot, Cities: Skylines 2 is coming this year, while The Wolf Among Us 2 and Starfield see delays.

This week, Ryan digs into Dome Keeper on Steam, while Jocelyn checks in on the so far shark-less Coral Island in Early Access (Steam or PC Game Pass). Over in the news, Elden Ring fans will be happy to hear an expansion has been confirmed, PlayStation had a State of Play with a major focus on The Suicide Squad, Pokemon presented a bunch of new stuff, Mortal Kombat 12 receives the least exciting release confirmation, and Valve confirms all Steam sales for 2023.

Jocelyn has returned to the Inn to discuss her time with The Witcher 3 during her time off. Plus Ryan returns to his early GameBoy days with the addition of GameBoy and GameBoy Advance games to Nintendo Switch Online. Moving into the news, the story of Tetris will be told on Apple TV+, Microsoft has signed a ten year deal for Call of Duty with Nintendo and Nvidia, and Blizzard staff aren’t very happy with Mike Ybarra after a recent Q&A session.

Ryan, thanks to his lovely Extra Life donors, played and streamed Elden Ring with Travis and LC. Moving into the news, we have a Chris Pratt-less Super Mario Movie ad, and Nintendo raises developers pay to strengthen the workforce.
