We’re all about the games on our first episode of 2018! Jocelyn picked up They Are Billions during the Steam Winter Sale and had good fun sorting out how to defend her city from the zombie hordes. Ryan jumped into Xenoblade Chronicles 2 over the holidays and has had a blast with the layers of combat and awesome anime cutscenes. Finally, Ryan chats about Doki Doki Literature Club, a game recommended by Jim on our GOTY episode. While appearing to be a cutesy visual novel on the surface, the game delves into some pretty dark places to earn the content warning at the beginning. It’s free on Steam if you’re interested (keep in mind though, the game is not suitable for children or those who are easily disturbed).
